18th century yellow gold whippet or Italian greyhound letter seal watch fob. This period estate jewelry dog head seal is mounted with carnelian stone, which was never engraved. This sensitively rendered gold dog has cabochon ruby eyes, wide collar and delineated fur. Measures 3 quarter of and inch high by seven eighths inches deep. Excellent condition.
